Our Lead Data/AI/ML Developer is focused on a deep understanding of our IoT data and creating machine learning models to deliver deep value to our customers. To do this job successfully, you need exceptional skills in statistics and programming and have the ability to think outside the box to see how we can use simple, real-time data to solve complex, real-world problems. If you also have knowledge of data science and software engineering, we’d like to meet you.

 

Your ultimate goal will be to shape and build efficient self-learning applications to be applied across our smart product portfolio.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop machine learning and deep learning systems that deliver high value, actionable results to our customers
  • Execute machine learning tests and experiments
  • Implement appropriate ML algorithms
  • Build awesome stuff that you are proud of and can’t wait to show off to others
  • Anticipate, organize, and prioritize work to meet both short- and long-term goals and outcomes
  • You are someone who takes on challenges as learning opportunities

 

You will do well If:

  • You have about 2-5 years of experience building customer-centric solutions using data analytics
  • Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
  • Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
  • Ability to write robust code in Python, R or other data-centric languages
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You view software libraries and frameworks as tools to deliver value, not theology
  • Software debugging is something you have deep experience with, and you consider code breakpoints a close friend that you go to for advice on a daily basis
  • When you build something that you feel is awesome, but others don’t, you don’t quit improving it until they do
  • You are either super interested or already have skills in AI/ML solutions in the cloud or on the edge
  • You are passionate but accountable, you crave ownership of your work, because you care about the details
  • You enjoy working in collaborative environment with smart funny and interesting people
  • BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar field; Master’s degree is a plus, but your specific education background is secondary to your innovation mindset, your relentless pursuit of knowledge, and your love of problem solving.
